What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

The leadership team needs to learn to treat its employees with respect and stop playing games to demoralize and break down team members.

Strategy and synergy. We dont have a plan. We're just operating business as usual from the 90s expecting it to work. It doesnt.

Hire more people from outside with real world experience in education

Learn to understand the needs of Employees first. Do not ever forget that past employees have contributed something to you. They may not be the best to fulfill your ego but you dont need to disrespect them. Take anonymous surveys from your employees.

Stop promoting favorites and start promoting on merit alone.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

More transparency. We get our sales goals on a post-it note. It is the same with goal attainment. Sometimes, I wonder if they are running two sets of books.

Review from Sales Dept

The pay is decent but the health insurance is awful and other benefits are minimal.

Horrible pay compared to industry. If you're claiming to be tech, you have to pay like it.

More equity rewards for performance and tenure

The company oy values employees who bow down to the likes of executive leadership team. There is a racket and group of employees in Columbus location who do not allow anybody else from other locations to grow.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

Coworkers are so scared of management that they hide and won't stand up for themselves in return for a paycheck.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

Radically change level 1 and 2 leadership

Many things. Mainly the CTO abd few so called VPs. Its a school environment.

Stop promoting people who have worked at the company for 20+ years who aren't qualified.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interviews Reviews

I had to interview with several people and each interview took hours and the interviewers asked some really inane questions. It was a grueling process.

Focus more on Leadership skills

Not that great. They go by looks and appearance and communication rather than judging your knowledge.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

Too many pigeon managers -- you set everything up, but they come in, poop on everything, and fly away thinking they actually contributed.

Review from Sales Dept

Needs to transform into a startup

you have created a sense of dictatorial environment where folks are not ready to give their honest reviews or opinion. You are not the only company in this world. Always remember that. And a sinciere advise to your CTO and the Chumpy Columbus guy - Stop your politics.

They want to be a startup, but can't get there through the current approach. The owners want revenue. So they go through CEOs hoping the next one will be the rainmaker. Stop. Walk your talk. Don't promote 20+ year employees who aren't qualified. Clean management house. Promote real talent.
