McLane Company Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

It is my pay rate

Everything it has to offer.

Everything. I get a ton of time off if you count vacation, personal, and that they bank you a holiday every time you work one which gives you at least another week of pto each year, plus the 5 days of sick time you can schedule or use for call ins. BCBS is priced well, plenty of extra options & flex

If you work 17 hours or more you can make money

Review from Customer Success Dept

Mclane has always paid competivly, if not a leader in compensation. I wish they could do some kind of longterm give back to a longterm employer thru the % they match in the 401k. I cannot really complain about the 401k. I would like to see some kind of increasing "match" the longer your an employee

The 401k is consistently performing well.

They have good insurance it is one of the main reasons I still work with them

Insurance for medical, dental, vision and other benefits offered to enhance teammates financial growth.

McLane strives to keep compensation competitive.

Full benefits package, corporate is adding additional benefits every year.

I made good money there

Great assortment of benefits to choose from.

I love the base pay

401k Profit Sharing, 1.5x match

bonus potential each year if goals are met

It's cheap and it's the best of the best

Review from Operations Dept

The 401k is top tier

Top of the line benefits that are worth the money paid.

It shows that they care for their workers

I'm not sure about the package

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The DCM manager and HR with Mechanics are horrible

Review from Operations Dept

We are all undervalued. You might as well be soitting in our faces the way this company takes care of the people that actually work and do eight by McLane

Benefits are deplorable…I have only worked for 3 major companies including McLane and have never seen such a horrific benefit package…borderline as bad as having none at

Pay is grossly less than hours out in. You are lied to on hire regarding the hours you're expected to work.

Constant 15 hour days are not what I signed up for

Review from Operations Dept

The workers are very undervalued one of their own passed away while driving their company truck and they are covering it up lying about what happened not telling us the truth and hiding things from us

Review from Product Dept

Start paying me like your paying the outside carrier. Your paying a broker 2500 dollars a route. WAKE UP!!!!

Let people be able to go to doctors without giving them a point. Get a read of the rating system. We all have to stay until all the work is done anyway.

401k match has gone down every year. Health insurance increase exceeds annual cost of living raise. New hires get big bonuses. But employes that have been with the company and topped out can't even get a decent anual raise

Review from Operations Dept

McLane is giving a $15,000 for new hires that have nothing vested in the company, yet drivers that have many years get nothing. Don't get me wrong the drivers have good jobs and are thankful, but what does it say that you'll give huge money to potential people coming in and do nothing for drivers

Make a contribution to a oganization for students trained to drive cdl ages 18-20. They will be fully knowlegable of all duties.

drivers mainly kept this coming open during COVID but who gets all the great bonuses those sitting at corporate who did nothing during covid. drivers should have received hazard pay and bonuses and we got squat.

Better pay and benefits and honesty about your benefits and extra load pay

You work hard, and though they make millions, employees get less than a. 25 raise for COLA

Review from Operations Dept

My current position does more physical labor than some of the higher paid positions
