Medtronic Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

A good Salary which is above industry average.

It is fair and balanced

Competitive salary and increases primarily through promotions. Annual merit increases are low. Annual bonus (MIP) payouts have decreased in recent years in the BU as enterprise level performance has become more heavily weighted than individual BU performance

In sales you determine the pay package.

Review from Marketing Dept

Options, coverage, bonus, fast, choices.

I like health insurance coverage

Benefits, PTO, etc. not a lot to speak about as far as good.

Base salary plus target bonus

Excellent healthcare benefits and stock purchase program, but you fight for every dollar you earn and they find ways to play with your pay via odd comp incentive targets.

Enough to live quite well.

The MIP... but it would be better if we will have retirement benefits or security of tenure

Review from Customer Support Dept

I like the bonus percentage offered

Fair compensation and benefits for the industry.

PTO and pay are fair

good base salary with annual incentive plan

Base pay and Bonus opportunity

The venefits are very good

Good base salary and pension

PTO, 401k match, health insurance options

weekly pay is awesome at a point until you dont get paid on time

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Better health insurance would be great. Bringing back pensions instead of ending the program

Review from Sales Dept

Fair compensation, stop penny pinching on benefits

Annual raises more aligned with the market.

My salary is determined by a generic title, not my actual experience and rile.

Executive support and follow through at the field level

Review from Sales Dept

Higher base salary and no drawn commission

I've been here 20+ years and have received excellent performance reviews but have never been paid at 100% of my market value.

A salary that actually keeps up with inflation

Apply salary and compensation based on the geographic location and not all the same.

Leadership has not corrected issues fast enough

The pay is slightly above average. It isn't worth the work life balance sacrifices.

Low pay compared to the market value and available info

Review from Engineering Dept

I feel undervalued because i work well over forty hours a week and do not even get paid enough to live without roommates

Nepotism, favoritsm, forced diversity and low pay. What would be better is a respectable pay as per market standard and promoting based on talent not based on gender

Review from Engineering Dept

There is a big impact of tax, depending on country. It would be nice for the company to consider that in compensation planning and offset the impact to ensure fair compensation for the same work.

Pay people for the hard work they do. Support your employees. Get them the supplies, equipment and facilities they need to perform at the highest level.

New starters make more than successful tenured workers

Improve the 401k matching percentage

Work 60 weeks and comp has fallen over past 20 years. 80% market share

Review from Sales Dept

Stop charging so much for benefits.
