Mr. Richard R. DeLuca, Jr., also known as Rick, has been an Executive Vice President and President of Merck Animal Health at Merck & Co., Inc. since September 15, 2011. Mr. DeLuca served as the President of Veterinary Medicines Manufacturer at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He served as the President of Fort Dodge Animal Health Inc. of Wyeth since December 2007 and served as its Chief Operating Officer from June 29, 2007 to January 2008. He is responsible for all commercial, manufacturing, business development and international marketing functions of Fort Dodge's global business. Mr. DeLuca has been with Fort Dodge since 1988 and served as its Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration from 2006 to 2007. From 2002 to 2006, he served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer at Fort Dodge Animal Health Division. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of BD Biosciences since 2010. Mr. DeLuca served as Member of Management, Operations at Law/Regulatory Review.
