Mr. Paul A. Karpowicz has been President of Local Media Group at Meredith Corporation since February 2005. Mr. Karpowicz served as Vice President of Television of LIN Television Corporation since January 1994 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Karpowicz served as President of Meredith Video Solutions. Mr. Karpowicz served as the President of the Meredith Broadcasting Group (MDP) of Meredith Corp. since February 14, 2005. Mr. Karpowicz is responsible for the direction of Meredith's 14 television stations - including six in Top 30 markets - that reach 9 percent of America's television households. The Broadcasting Group accounts for over 25 percent of all Meredith Corporation revenues. Mr. Karpowicz served as Vice President of Television of LIN TV Corp. from January 1994 to February 14, 2005 and its Principal Operating Officer until February 14, 2005. He served as Vice President Television for LIN's 23 properties in 14 markets since 1994. Prior to January 1994, Mr. Karpowicz served as General Manager of LIN TV Corp.'s Indianapolis CBS network station, WISH-TV, from July 1989 to July 1995. He is the Immediate Past Chairman of the CBS Affiliates Board and served as the Television Board Chairman of the National Association of Broadcasters until June 2002. He served as Chairman of Broadcast Music, Inc. until May 31, 2017. He served as Vice Chairman of Broadcast Music, Inc. since October 7, 2013. He has been Presiding Director of Broadcast Music, Inc. since May 31, 2017 and serves as its Director. He serves as a Member of Television Board of National Association of Broadcasters. He has been a Director of Lin Holdings Corp., since August 1999. Mr. Karpowicz serves on the Board of the Associated Press and the Television Bureau of Advertising. Mr. Karpowicz serves on the Associated Press Television Advisory Board. He served as a Director of LIN Television Corp. since August 1999. Mr. Karpowicz served as a Director of LIN TV Corp. from August 1999 to February 14, 2005. Mr. Karpowicz is a 1975 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
