MetLife Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They show appreciation and is Caring

Review from Customer Support Dept

Very transparent, personable, and regularly updating us on the company.

Very open, active on LinkedIn, internal Slack channels, and within the industry.

Review from HR Dept

Good leader ship great place

Lead by women, Focused on employee, happiness, and wellness

Great MetLife and great senior

There is a true open door if you ever need it and all ideas are welcome.

Clarity and vision to help fulfill our aspirations and growth

They listen to feedback. Our corperate leaders just completed a West coast visit, and sat and listened to employee experiences and suggestions for improvements. They seemed genuinely interested in helping.

Succeed together i like it

Review from Marketing Dept

Simply put: they care. They listen and empower us to make changes for the better.

When a manager is willing to have an open mindset, I've seen great ideas gain life.

They are very Flexible people

This is a Good place to work

they have many different ideas

Could be more transparent on things

Everyone replies fast with answers to questions

down to earth, some are great leaders

My local managers are amazing

Review from Customer Support Dept

They communicate frequently about what is planned and what is happening

Review from IT Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Everything because they are non supportive

Be more genuine, show real empathy, don’t just use people to make yourself look good. Care about your employees, care about your customer

Communication and not playing politics

Review from Finance Dept

This is the worst place I have ever worked. Useless metric gathering, no potential for growth, and too many policies in place to stifle improvement.

I think the inter-office rules need to be revamped more than anything else.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Thinking about the consequences of using the cheapest option up front and not looking at the cheaper option taking 3 times as long and done incorrectly costing more in the end

Review from IT Dept

Make it easier to report manager misconduct.

They need to appreciate the people they have. We recently went through layoffs where they made some of IT reapply for their own jobs that were being relocated to North Carolina at a lower wage. A lot of us are making close or over 6 figures and they want to cut that to THEY can improve their comp.

Review from IT Dept

leadership is bias towards their friends

Review from Admin Dept

Too leadership seems innovative and motivated

Review from Sales Dept

My managers are great. Just the people above them needs to start thinking about us is as people, not numbers, with lives who depend on our jobs. Too easy for them to cut jobs.

Review from Operations Dept

The leadership needs to look at why employees are leaving en masse and fix the problem. Cut throat culture and the blame shifting is toxic

Managing

Review from Operations Dept

Stop putting self interest before doing what is best for the company
