She was responsible for commercializing new business opportunities and developing strategic relationships for Qualcomm. She served as the President of MediaFLO Technologies. She served as an Executive Vice President of Americas & India at Qualcomm Inc. since January 2008. Ms. Johnson served as the President and Executive Vice President of Qualcomm Internet Services since July 2001 and MediaFLO Technologies at Qualcomm Inc. She served as Senior Vice President of QUALCOMM Incorporated until July 2001 and Executive Vice President January 2011 to October 2012. She served as a Senior Vice President of Sales at Qualcomm Consumer Products since April 2000. She started her career as a software engineer within Qualcomm Wireless Business Solutions (QWBS) and worked her way up to vice president of technology. She joined Qualcomm Consumer Products in 1997 as Vice President of Business Development and was appointed Vice President of sales shortly thereafter. Prior to joining Qualcomm, she worked as an Engineer for General Electric's Military Electronics Division. She has been an Independent Director of Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. since June 20, 2013. She has been a Trustee of The Paley Center for Media since October 2017. She serves as a Director of CTIA Wireless Internet Caucus. She serves as a Director of Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association. She represents the United States on the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Advisory Council. She has been recognized by multiple organizations, a few of which include, Women in Technology International ('2013 Hall of Fame Award'), STEM ('100 Women Leaders in STEM, 2012'), Athena ('2011 Pinnacle Awards') and Fierce Wireless ('Most Influential Women in Wireless, 2011'). Ms. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University.
