It started off great, but everyone's morale has degraded massively. Management is either absent or incompetent, and compensation, despite emphatic promises, has yet to become competitive.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Better insurance and a competitive wage.

What are some of the best things about your team?

The team does manage to communicate rather effectively between shifts, but this is in-spite-of management. Everyone is also reasonably personable.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Short and sweet, they were desperate for bodies in bagging as it had been a revolving door position for some time.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The familial nature between us. Everyone on the floor knows everyone else is suffering through, so we try to keep the interpersonal drama to a minimum.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Appreciating their employees. Safety and compensation are both a joke. They're not even competitive with fast food in the area. Policy says to only carry one yarn pack at a time for ergonomic reasons, yet we're reprimanded(by management) for doing so because it "degrades efficiency."

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We're currently working 5 10 hour days a week while swinging between first shift one week, and 3rd the next. It's killing us. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that either. You can't bludgeon people's circadian rhythms like that at not expect physical consequences to your workers.
