Company is beurocratic and presents a false front to the world. Behind the scenes the focus is on profitability and shareholder return before caring about their wirkforce. Sustainability is a buzzword they exploit.
They honestly make sure you are taken care of the environment is clean and safe and you're treated like family

You have to be extremely strong willed and be able to be miserable.

They used to be much better than they are now.

The mobility used to be very good in regards to promoting from within. Now there is so much infighting between divisions to keep good people and limit promotions.

Healthcare continues to go up year after year with benefits not improving.

There used to be an outstanding training program that has been cut over the years.

Very few. Over the years the company has gotten poor feedback on relocation

Very few. Seems to be such a culture they do not foster outside activities

There needs to be some major changes at the senior and middle level management

Horrible. I cannot get away from work without being contacted.
How's the vacation policy at Milliken & Company?
Vacation policy is average. 2 weeks after 5 years. The issue is you will be contacted and expected to respond while you are on vacation. They do not honor a vacation.

Extremely fast

Not that different than most companies. Nothing really separates it from other companies
What's the vibe like in the Operations dept at Milliken & Company? How many hours are you working?
It is extremely high stress and long hours. Goals that are given are not attainable no matter how many hours you work. On average 60. You will also be expected to work from home in a 24 hour operation.
What's the Operations team like at Milliken & Company?
Questionable. The culture has become much more to look out for yourself and not function as a team.
How's the leadership on the Operations team at Milliken & Company?
There are some really good ones and some really bad ones. I think during a interview process it would be very difficult to identify them. Plant leadership is solid but above that there are leaders with goals that are not going to be attainable.
