Good culture but could be better pay

Great culture. Management policies and transparency seems really high and that really bleeds through into everyday decisions.

In less than 5 years, I am in my 6th position at the company. Growth opportunities are rampant for those who are willing to buckle down and chase these and constantly improve.

Overall experience has been fantastic other then my manager.

Fantastic personal attention to detail

They have an open-door policy, so we can reach out to them if we feel the need to.

Leadership trusts it's people. Leadership knows it takes the village, not just the mayor. Leadership will give growth opportunities to anyone who will take it on.

I like the fact that I am never in doubt of where they stand on any particular issue. They are vocal about where we are and where we are going. Their passion and transparency is inspiring.

You can earn a living wage here, even in California.

Compensated fairly. Could be a bit better, but definitely on the better side of the equation.

MINDBODY's flex time is unlike any I've had before. I get time each paycheck that can be used for doctor visits, vacations, or any personal time needs that arise.

Medical Benefits are above average.

the pay rate was so low and the targets were not very realistic

My manager rarely adds any positivity into our meetings and also singles people out. I would feel a lot better about my compensation if they raised my salary.

We can lean on and learn from each other and are in constant contact, even while working from home.

My team is world class. While every team has struggles and personality conflicts, Mindbody gets through it better than most.

The drive that each member of my team brings to each work day helps motivate and inspire everyone who shows up wanting to do their best job. They have an incredible sense of humor while still focusing on the tasks necessary to do incredible things.

Better cross-department collaboration. The company is still too isolated into discipline silos.

My manager seems like he needs a lot more training. He is very political and plays favorites especially since he had worked with my other coworkers for the past 7 years.

The interviewers are friendly and put you at ease, so you can ask the questions that you need to in order to make sure that the company fits you too, not just that you fit their needs.
