Executive Bio

Mr. Robert Scott Fauber, also known as Rob, has been the President of Moody's Investors Service, Inc., a subsidiary of Moody's Corporation since June 01, 2016. Mr. Fauber served as the Head of MIS Commercial Group and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Moody's Corporation from January 2013 to May 31, 2016 and from April 29, 2009 to May 31, 2016 respectively. He served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Moody's Corporation from September 2005 to April 2009. Prior to Moody's, he served in several roles at Citigroup from 1999 to 2005, including Director of Planning and Business Development for Citigroup's Alternative Investments division. Prior to that, he served as Director of in Corporate Strategy & Business Development for Citigroup parent and Vice President and Associate in the Financial Sponsor and Telecom investment banking groups at Salomon Smith Barney subsidiary. He started his career as a Credit Analyst in the Commercial Banking Group at NationsBank (now Bank of America), where he served in the Middle Market Commercial Banking Group in Atlanta from 1992 to 1996 and also ran its Global Finance college recruiting program in 1997. He has been a Director of Council For Economic Education since October 28, 2011. He serves as a Director of ChinaScope Financial, Copal Partners and the Moody's Foundation. He served as a Non-Independent and Non-Executive Director at ICRA Limited from January 30, 2015 to June 14, 2016. Mr. Fauber holds an M.B.A. (with distinction) from The Johnson School of Management at Cornell University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
