It's contagious when people like to be around each other. We work hard, but we actually enjoy being around each other. This team is filled with great folks I admire.

Inclusivity and openness across the team.

Thoughtfulness. We hurry projects forward but not people. We have processes that everyone uses to think through tradeoffs. We write things down as much as reasonably possible. SREs watch for struggling newbies on other teams and spend time handholding. Work conversations avoid personal drama.

Mux has a real commitment to hiring people from diverse backgrounds and making sure they give their employees the tools and resources they need to succeed.

The leadership team is really transparent - they share company metrics and progress against goals with the team regularly, which makes me feel valued as a part of building this business.

It's small but meaningful - we're encouraged to give "shout outs" to colleagues who've done something to go above and beyond. We share these at our weekly company sync and it's the section that usually takes the most time because there are always so many!
