Good for experience and good people work at NOV but after years of working there, you feel taken advantage of
Listening to employee feedback and leadership showing significant changes to help depts and employees be successful rather than moving leadership positions back and forth
Out of touch leadership. Employees being asked to do multiple jobs with no increase in headcount / resources and assuredly no pay increase unless they get a job title change.
Understanding the needs and issues at the facility level vs demanding for results without resources, manpower, or tools which is sets people up for failure and shows how out of touch leadership can be
NOV is a good opportunity for experience up to a certain point where you're wearing multiple hats and performing the work of multiple people. Rather than provide adequate compensation matching the market for that experience, they continue to give good workers more work.
Investment in development of personnel, raises for those who meet certain milestones during (mandatory scheduled) performance reviews or X amount of years and review of responsibilities. Mgmt should be reviewed by employees to see opportunities for improvement in terms of support and communication
Leadership should actively work to visit sites and push for actual feedback from employees at the local level. Surveys only provide an idea of what they may want but employees invested in their work environment can have valuable input on the business if asked
