  • The new Institute of Genomic Medicine and the Behavioral Health initiative both have major investment from the hospital and community. It's hard to say what's struggling, we're growing in almost every area.

  • The Behavioral Health Pavilion will be up and running in 2020. It will be here before we know it. It will be one of a kind and much needed in Central Ohio and beyond.

  • It varies wildly across departments and teams. The most common pathway is to replace someone in the role that you want. Unfortunately, this can take years and lack of advancement opportunities is one of the main criticisms of NCH. It's not unheard of for people to leave the company for a few years and then come back in order to get a higher paying job.

  • It's really great! At the end of the day, everyone knows that we're all here for a great cause. It's low stress and you can take pride in your work. Of course the downside to this is that performance isn't really rewarded. Everyone is expected to do a good job, but in reality it means mediocre people can slide by for years.
