What's the internship program like at nearmap.com?
I am not aware of any internships at Nearmap US, maybe in the Australian organization.
What do you wish you knew before starting at nearmap.com?
That it is really a sales driven company that will do or say whatever is needed to win or keep a customer. I have never seen such poor ethics when dealing with customers and partners.
How hard is it to get promoted at nearmap.com?
Pretty difficult unless you are able to brown-nose with one of the executives. They look to hire outside first for mid-level jobs.
Does nearmap.com have any remote positions?
Some of the field sales roles are remote locations, but most staff are in one of the office locations.
How does nearmap.com make decisions around promotions?
They look for the best candidates which include internal candidate review.
