Any understanding of mental health. Help people instead of making it worse. I was made out to be the bad guy because I had anxiety and now depression. Of course I missed work. You continued to pile on the stress when YOU had options to not do so.
Empathy!!!!!! Sometimes business aspects need to be set aside. All managers forget that here!!
Accountability. Don't show favouritism. Communicate goals better

Fair pay for fair work. Nelnets CFO could be one of the greediest executives in the country. When a question came up about rewarding employees that stick loyal to nelnet and whether or not their loyalty should be rewarded via financial compensation, he said "they should be happy we give them jobs."
Its not a living wage job.
Work life balance is terrible, I work Late and most weekends just to keep up with the workload including helping other teams with their own workload and none of this hard work is recognized by the good old boy club.
They need to hire people who want to come to work

Coworkers are great, they are one of the reasons I have stayed with Nelnet for so long.
I didnt know my co workers. The company doesn't give you free time to do that
Employees need to be accountable. Rampant favoritism
People need to be held accountable
Great culture in Denver, just need the A/C to work all the time.

Company plays favorites. You get promoted if you are well liked not for how much work you put in

Just feel under valued at times. If upper management could stop playing favorites and focus on the other hard workers they have that would be great.
Empathy is stated but missing everywhere!
