Can be tedious if your a developer. Lots of hoops to jump through, but we are trying to speed up the process.

We have earned time off, caps at 320 hours. You earn more the longer you stay at Nelnet.

Lots of community and charity work.

The work from home benefit. You can literally come and go as you please as long as you get your work done.

Hardly ever any, out of seven years of being there I’ve only seen one lay off.

Limited .... very slow and limited.

Depends on what department you are working in.

Hardworking, not a know at all, not a best practices freak either, however, you need to know how to code and how to be a team player.

I can come to and go as I please, but I get my work done and have a flexible boss.

Very mentoring and supportive.

Must be three days in an office a week at least.

What Engineering department questions did Nelnet ask during your job interview?
It’s a Microsoft .Net shop, so lots of questions pertaining to that. Along with Angular, Node, AWS.
