Review from Design Dept

I have been working in this company for 9 years. I like the environment and the benefits the income is fair. What i don't like is too many changes on a fast pace without a real structure. They change their mind and the systems and tools frequently. It makes it difficult to keep up and be consistent

Review from Finance Dept

It has changed a lot throughout the years

1-5% max, depending on performance and how close to market value you came in. Very fair.

  • I am a teller and my quarterly bonus was $89. And that is with excellent ratings which is what the bonus is based on.

  • Annually, rarely excessive but comparable to market. Don’t expect to be “right-sized” IF you over perform.

I have not been about to access my full ability due to opportunities

  • I make pretty good money for my position. The benefits are great and not too expensive. One of the best things is the 6% retirement match.

  • That is base on activities and behaviors not sales goals.

Despite what people think it's a great culture. We genuinely care about our customers and always put them first. That's why we're successful

  • Great energy among the team. Evyone works with a purpose

  • WF admitting they made a mistake. John Stumpf should still be with us -- unfortunate for a great executive to lose his legacy, very good CEO

    Varies

  • When you move into a position, you have to be in that position for a year before you can move without Manager approval. After the year, you can pretty much move around as you like.

  • Wells Fargo is reconized as keeping the team members forever. It’s easy to apply internally to work in another position. You have to be at the same position for at least one year to be eligible to move.

  • How long some initiatives would take. When people on salary make decisions for people in commissions, the timing is always too long

  • The stress levels

  • Our overly paranoid ineffective credit culture! That being said the rest of the organization is great to work for. WE DONT MANAGE RISK, WE FREAK OUT AND AVOID IT ALL TOGETHER WITH 0 TOLLERANCE FOR REASON.

Right now there is a witch hunt mentality where a lot of people are afraid they are going to , unknowingly, make a mistake and get fired.

  • Better pay/bonus. Why do people have to have 2 or 3 jobs to have a family when the CEO gets a raise of 6.8 millions. We are the people that keeps WF working and we are treated as if we are the worst expense of WF.

  • There is too much nepotism at this bank. A manager will hire their friends and pay them outrageous salaries.

Not to common they phase people out by attrition or lack of movement in a section, there is an elimination of 100% telecommute which will phase many people out

  • VERY COMMON, lots of people just got laid off while they're hiring in India and the Philippines like crazy... hm wonder why

  • I never know anyone that was laid off

It's great! You are provided so many options on how to take off work in a year that I usually don't get a chance to use all mine cause there's so much of it

  • Very good. 4 weeks to start and 1 week more at 3 years. Another week added at 10 years.

  • It varies with how long you have been with the company. I believe that it starts in the 23-25 day range. After a few years it jumps to 28-29 days. This doesn't include holidays. Time off is one huge perk for working at Wells Fargo.
