The compensation package may not align with many other tech companies, but other tech companies will not offer you as healthy of a culture and work-life balance that Newsela does.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people I work with. I know that when I struggle or have a question, it will not be seen as annoying or needy but as a learning opportunity and step for growth.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team listens to their employees. We have company surveys, and then an all-hands centered around the results and strategies to improve them. I have never worked for a company that has genuinely approached this topic.
