When I feel like I'm helping others in some way and when my hard work or ideas are acknowledged.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone on my subteam is extremely supportive and collaborative. My teammates are also amazing at what they do and are always wanting to grow.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I took a pay cut to join Newsela, but my overall job satisfaction is higher at Newsela than at my previous job, even though my hours are longer at Newsela. Working less hours would make me feel better about my compensation.
