Joseph Mulpas — Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President at NiSource

Mr. Joseph W. Mulpas, also known as Joe, has been the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President at NiSource Inc. since May 17, 2014. Mr. Mulpas served as an Assistant Controller of Metropolitan Edison Company, Pennsylvania Electric Company, The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, Ohio Edison Company and FirstEnergy Solutions Corp. from November 2012 to March 2014. He served as Vice President of Finance Department of NiSource Inc. since March 17, 2014. Mr. Mulpas served as the Chief Accounting Officer, Controller, Interim Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of The Dayton Power and Light Company. He served as the Chief Accounting Officer, Controller and Vice President of DPL Inc., since May 2009. He has an extensive background in the energy industry with experience in both the regulated and unregulated segments of the business. Prior to joining DPL, he was a Partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP in its Energy Utility Practice. Mr. Mulpas is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a Graduate of The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He has a Business Administration degree from Alma College.
