He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Ohio Power Company since 2008. Mr. Hamrock served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of American Electric Power Co. Inc., from July 2, 2003 to January 2008. He served as Senior Vice President of General Services at American Electric Power Co. Inc., since 2002. Mr. Hamrock joined American Electric Power Co. in 1986 at Steubenville, Ohio and served as its Electrical Engineer in transmission and distribution planning. He served as Supervisor in Commercial Marketing and Customer Services of American Electric Power Co. Inc. and served as its Director of strategic development and Executive Assistant to E. Linn Draper. Mr. Hamrock has been a Director of NiSource Inc. since June 02, 2015. Mr. Hamrock received Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Youngstown (Ohio) State University and Master's Degree in Business Administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a Sloan Fellow.
