Mr. Mark Kempic has been the Chief Transformation Officer of NiSource Inc. since February 13, 2017. Mr. Kempic served as the President of Columbia Gas of Maryland, Inc. and Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania Inc. at NiSource Inc. since July 2012 until February 13, 2017. Mr. Kempic has more than 35 years of experience in the energy industry and has served in a broad range of functions, including engineering, gas supply, corporate planning and regulatory policy. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer and information science from the University of Pittsburgh, an associate's degree in solar heating and cooling engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a law degree from Capital University School of Law.
