Pablo Vegas — Chief Customer Officer and Executive Vice President of Gas Segment at NiSource

Mr. Pablo A. Vegas has been the Chief Customer Officer and Executive Vice President of Gas Segment at NiSource Inc. since May 1, 2017 and served as its President of Columbia Gas Group and Executive Vice President since May 3, 2016 until May 1, 2017. Mr. Vegas served as the President of AEP Ohio and Chief Operating Officer of AEP Ohio at American Electric Power Co., Inc. until May 2016. He served as the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Technology at American Electric Power Co., Inc. since May 2010 until 2012. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of AEP Texas of American Electric Power Co. Inc. and American Electric Power Service Corporation from July 1, 2008 to May 2010. Mr. Vegas served as the Director of Strategic Planning at American Electric Power Co. Inc., and he worked to formulate its short- and long-term strategic plans. Since joining AEP in 2005, Mr. Vegas held leadership positions in information technology and finance, leading both the corporate information technology planning and commercial operations information technology planning organizations. In these roles, he focused on continual process improvements and driving increased value through AEP's technology investments. Prior to joining AEP, he held positions with IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Andersen Consulting. In his last position with IBM, as Associate Partner - communications sector, he had responsibility for delivering process and technology solutions within the energy sector. He serves as a Director of Mount Carmel Health System, Inc. He also serves on the board of trustees for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Vegas attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering.
