Mr. Daniel S. Farkas, also known as Dan, serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at NCL (Bahamas) Ltd. Mr. Farkas has been Senior Vice President and General Counsel of NCL Corporation Ltd. since February 2008 and as its Assistant Secretary since 2013. He has been Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. since February 2008 and served as its Assistant Secretary since 2013. He served as the Chief Ethics Officer of Norwegian Cruise Line Holding and oversaw the Legal, Risk Management, Corporate Governance and Compliance, Environmental and Regulatory Affairs, Medical Services, Passenger and Crew Claims and Government Affairs areas at Norwegian Cruise Line. He served as Secretary at NCL Corporation Ltd., from 2010 to 2013. He joined Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. in January 2004 and served as its Vice President and Assistant General Counsel from 2005 to 2008, Secretary from 2010 to 2013 and Assistant General Counsel from 2004 to 2005. He was a Partner in the Miami offices of the law firm Mase and Gassenheimer specializing in maritime litigation. He served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County, Florida. He serves on the board of directors of the Cruise Industry Charitable Foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree Cum Laude with honors in English and American Literature from Brandeis University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami
