For engineering: meet with various levels of seniority and areas of expertise. The take home wasn't too aggressive.
They recently announced that they were reviewing everyone's pay to make sure all people with the same role would get similar pay. If only that was true. Benefits are good. If only we could actually use them. We can barely take PTO & Sick time. We work all holidays. Work life balance does not exist!

What's the internship program like at Notarize?
It is amazing. Interns are given incredible opportunities to perform meaningful, satisfying, and impactful work.
Amazing experience. I really enjoyed the flexibility and the ability to figure things out on my own. There's alot of support and at the same time alot of autonomy. I have learned a lot since I started and am very grateful to everyone at Notarize for that
There is no strongly established internship program, but there are a few interns who have started recently. It's worth inquiring to HR about.
What's the work from home policy like at Notarize?
We are almost all remote, but you can go into the Boston office.
Work from home policy is pretty generous. It's preferred you're in the office when you can be but you can work from home whenever you're sick, have appointments, need to take care of kids, be around for a delivery, etc.
Very flexible work from home policy. Some teams work 100% remotely. It's a very flexible "come and go" culture. Company care most about hiring great people who are collaborative, hard working, and can make a big impact, no matter where they work.

Notarize redefines innovation on many levels. They are changing the mortgage industry and influencing remote online notarization legislation on an incredible scale. It is something that I am proud to be a part of.
How do I do well in an interview at Notarize?
For engineers, there is a relatively simple algorithm challenge phone screen. A realistic problem to solve. In-person interviews include a whiteboard design challenge and a longer pair programming session. Study or be good at general algorithm stuff, know the parts that go into designing various systems, how they would communicate to each other, what data they would send back and forth. And be able to code and communicate in the language you will be using (React/Rails).
