Mr. Alvaro J. Monserrat, also known as Al, has been an Executive Vice President and General Manager of Document Imaging Division at Nuance Communications, Inc., since January 2018. Mr. Monserrat was the Chief Executive Officer at Real Enterprise Synergy Inc. since April 2015. He was the Chief Executive Officer at Real Enterprise Solutions Nederland B.V. since April 2015. His career spans more than 25 years in large enterprises and entrepreneurial ventures within enterprise software, mobility, cloud, networking and business strategy. Mr. Monserrat joined RES after a fifteen year career at Citrix Systems, Inc. He served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services at Citrix Systems, Inc. since July 11,2008. He served as Senior Vice President of Sales Strategy at Citrix Systems, Inc. Mr. Monserrat served as an Advisor of Virsto Software Corporation. He leads the global Citrix sales and services organization. He joined Citrix in February 2000. He served as Vice President of Channels, Strategy and Sales Operations at Citrix Systems, Inc. from July 1, 2007 to July 11,2008. Mr. Monserrat served as Vice President of North America Sales at Citrix Systems, Inc. He has led the development of alternate routes to market as well as the incubation of new products, either acquired or developed internally and has led worldwide sales strategy and sales operations. He has responsibility for relationships with the Citrix?? Solution Advisor (CSA) channel, system integrators, independent software vendors, original equipment manufacturers and alternate routes to market as well as the incubation of new products developed internally or via future acquisitions. He guided North American sales, re-engineering all aspects of Citrix's go-to-market strategy, including redefining Citrix channel strategy, enterprise sales processes and establishing new people practices from 2004 to 2006. Mr. Monserrat had been responsible for the global Citrix field services organization, including Citrix consulting services, education and market readiness. Before joining Citrix, he served as a Senior Director at Innovex Group, an IT consulting firm based in South Florida. He served as a Manager in the transportation industry practice of Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He serves as Director of Real Enterprise Synergy Inc. He has been a Director Seacoast National Bank since January 2017. He has been a Director at Real Enterprise Solutions Nederland B.V. since April 2015. He served as Director at Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida since January 2017 until March 22, 2017. He served as a Director of Auxis LLC from October 6, 2016 to October 20, 2016. Mr. Monserrat earned a Master's degree in business from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Miami.
