Mr. Daniel D. Tempesta, also known as Dan, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Nuance Communications Inc. since July 21, 2015. Mr. Tempesta served as the Chief Accounting Officer of Nuance Communications Inc. and served as its Vice President of Finance since March 2008. Mr. Tempesta also served as Corporate Controller of Nuance Communications Inc. and served as its Principal Accounting Officer since May 7, 2008. Previously, he served as Principal Accounting Officer of Teradyne Inc. from December 19, 2006 to February 29, 2008 and as its Corporate Controller since December 19, 2006 and Treasurer from March 2005 to December 19, 2006. Mr. Tempesta served as Finance Manager of Teradyne, leading its implementation of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, from February 2004 to March 2005. He served in various positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 1992 to 2004 and where he also served as Senior Manager in the audit practice.
