ROA bonus- when the company wins, everyone wins. Our end of year bonus can go up to 33% of our annual salary depending on how the company performs that year.

Nucor does a great job of paying and giving back to the teammates. Decisions that are made are made with the teammates in mind.
Review from HR Dept

Pay for performance. More Safe productivity = More Pay
Review from Operations Dept
Our vacation and raises/benefits are not comparable to others in the industry. Especially for technical staff. However, depending on your manager/site, you are able to flex your schedule within reason, which is nice.
Review from Operations Dept
Nucor used to be the top paying job in the low country. Compared to the ports and other business I feel like we are not compensated enough.
Review from Engineering Dept
better benefit's medical and better vacation pay
Review from Operations Dept
Have pay reflect what our DC is. We should share in the wealth when the division/department is doing well and vice versa.
Review from Operations Dept
I don't feel undervalued, but Nucor needs to accept that other companies are catching up to our pay scale and providing better benefits, all while working in less harsh conditions. If we want to acquire and maintain the best talent out there, we need to gain back that competitive advantage.
Review from Engineering Dept
Pay more equivalent across divisions/like jobs
Review from Engineering Dept
Because there are other companies in the area that are paying more. There is no room for growth within the department.
Review from Admin Dept
The skilled labor market in the area has dwindled down and while other companies are making major strides to surpass us with better benefits, high wages, and improved working environments. Raise the compensation wages.
Review from Operations Dept
I am a new and very experienced employee. I do not feel the rate I started at is indicative of the skills I possess.
Review from Engineering Dept
Pay has not kept up with inflation. Less that 1.9% year over year general increase in wages going back 20 plus years. Groceries, cars, homes have all increased dramatically while wages have lagged behind.
Review from Operations Dept
Nucor teammates used to be paid far above the regional median salary. We are falling below that pay scale. It is very clear in the talent that we attract. Thousands of people used to apply for our job pool. Now we are lucky to get 100. A 15% pay increase would be consumed by inflation at this point.
Review from Operations Dept
I am undervalued compared to peers who have significant less responsibilities and direct reports. I have over 30 direct reports and get paid the same as someone with zero direct reports.
Review from Engineering Dept
When I look at comps for similar positions there are other companies paying $10-$20k more. Additionally, Nucor is hiring people in at much hire rates than what I'm making and paying recruiter fees for them.
Review from HR Dept
I have not received any pay increases except for cost of living increase.
Review from Operations Dept
I feel the raises I have received haven't even came close to the the rise in cost of goods, fuel and etc.
Review from Product Dept
Fair compensation in relation to the levels of inflation. People from the 1980s took home the amounts we take home currently. New teammates coming on make the same as someone in the position for years.
Review from Admin Dept
Initial offer was below what I was already making at a previous position. Took a lot to get that offer up. Doesn't seem like much opportunity for a large salary on ROA unless you are a manager. Told because I was bumped up prior to coming on that I would not get 90 day raise
Review from HR Dept
An increase of base pay to every team mate.
Review from Operations Dept
Compared to similar professionals in my geographic market, (for my and other positions) we are on the lower end of the pay scale. Nucor also does not account for geographic cost of living for pay considerations.
Review from Admin Dept
I have been promoted twice since starting my career at Nucor and now make less money than the entry level position I started in and I work more hours.
