Nuna's leadership team cares about the company culture. They try to bring bright, talented people into the team, and they are very willing to hear people's voices.
Available any time for completely open and honest conversations . Completely approachable.
They're passionate and driven to make a real difference. They are willing to listen to their people and discuss solutions to problem areas that are both big and small and inside and outside of the company.
Their focus on continuous improvement and willingness to change in order to keep driving towards our mission. Also their consistent commitment to employee growth and development is unlike any that I've seen at other companies.
Willingness to adapt as the marketplace changes, and not let the company get painted into a corner.
Trusting the people they have hired and not pointing blame when it does not work.
Salary and generous maternity leave.
The best part about my compensation package is the matching 401k.
The package is competitive in the industry and Nuna offers fair RSU package.
There's no 1 piece that's the best - it's the combination of everything that's awesome. there are commuter benefits, a generous health and fitness reimbursement, kombucha and cold brew on tap. Not to mention money/equity. Every aspect of employee life and wellbeing has been taken into consideration.
Quite competitive with compensation at much larger tech companies. I was pleasantly surprised at this.
Transparency and salary adjustments as roles shift and change.
Dedicated, intelligent, and truly want to do a good job.
My team has a lot of experienced engineers. They give very good mentorship to Junior engineers and are very willing to help out each other.
They get things done quickly, efficiently, accurately, with kindness and a good sense of humor.
The team I work with is really intelligent and brings knowledge from different areas of the healthcare space into solutioning.
we work as one; a failure for the team is a failure for all of us, and that mantra is reflected in how we consistently help eachother out. Also I completely trust my teammates, whether it comes to work or personal issues.

People are professional and care about the work deliverables.
I am in an administrative role. I haven't experienced the same level of respect for admins at other companies. We're truly treated as experts/professionals in our field.
that you can come as you are. we have some incredibly talented people, and everyone's calendar is open for you to put time on there to discuss anything or ask for help, including the CEO's.
The overall mission of the company is very clear, and people are here because they care about that mission, even when it's not always clear how to achieve it without some experimentation.
It's collaborative and willing to consider the perspective of others.
Nuna has always claimed to be a mission-driven company and the stated mission to my understanding was to promote value-based care, meaning the best care for the price of that care. In theory, it sounds great, but what it does, in reality, is make insurance companies and provider networks richer.
My recruiter reached out between every stage to check in with me and see how I was doing, answer all my questions, and prep me for the next stage.
getting to meet a broad range of people - folks I'd work directly with, and folks I wouldn't necessarily have to interact with on a day-to-day basis.
The chance to talk to people in a variety of roles and levels of seniority in the course of my interview. I liked having a chance to get multiple views of the company.
Meeting a variety of people across Nuna, it gave me a real feel for culture. It was genuine, raw and open.

Work with talent people and industry leaders
It's great seeing the positive reaction our products are receiving.
Our mission and drive to solve some of the toughest problems in healthcare. It can be frustrating, but ultimately the work is gratifying.
seeing my coworkers, knowing that I'm going to learn something new every day.
Get more votes on the board so a couple of people can be voted out. Clean house and find people with actual start-up experience. People from Google, Twitter, Square, Facebook know nothing about scaling a startup, especially a healthcare startup. Insanity is trying the same thing over and over and ex
The people are an amazing group and our mission is inspiring. Nuna does a really great job of ensuring that there is an environment where people of all walks can collaborate.
The structure is a bit flat. It would be nice to see a bit more management of processes to ensure that hard work is realized and rewarded. It can be tough to go unnoticed when so much sweat equity was spent.
