NYU Langone Health Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

i really like my dental plan

The best part about my compensation package is my yearly salary, I am very pleased.

Healthcare, pension, human resources, culture

Review from Operations Dept

The benefits are excellent as is the time off.

Highest in New York City

The best part is my salary

Employer contribution, bonuses for positive reviews.

I am a contract, so I do not get benefits directly.

It's completely wholistic and they've thought of everything!

Medical coverage, tuition benefits, and 403B

Review from Operations Dept

The customer service is terrible

generous 403b, medical & other health benefits

Review from Operations Dept

We receive excellent health insurance at an extremely low cost.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

More transparency on the appraisal process. Clear expectations that are tied to the totality of the work -- not achieving targets in all arbitrarily set benchmarks doesnt mean failure.

yes. If I was compensated better for the work that I do.

Promotions and pay raise are only granted to the people who belong to a pack.

Pay is equal among my coworkers regardless of the several years I have been there. Even newcomers are welcomed at my same pay rate.

This place will introduce you to the concept of "futility" of you efforts

Was literally pushed to resign after daring challenged the queen of my department (Yes that's a thing)

They dont pay equally nor do the benefits compare to other institutions of their size.

In Comparison to NYP jodpital and ithers in NYC we are underpaid.

I gave that place my all and I got nothing out of it except a paycheck.

Travel nursing has exposed the many problems with compensation in healthcare. Staff nurses are underpaid and the culture of hospitals is awful (you are just a cog to be worn down) so there is no reason to stay unless you don't want to leave your family.

RESPECT for the work the bottom feeders do

raises were very hard to come by and hard work was never recognized

Review from Admin Dept

Recent budget cuts. Larger salary, opportunities to be promoted.

Review from Operations Dept

I am very intelligent and I perform tasks above and beyond my job description, but I don’t get compensated.
