NYU is a teaching hospital and really promotes a learning environment.
They should just start doing what they say.
Leadership scrutiny and clear accountability
Introduce structure, accountability and proper leadership agenda tracking and monitoring by a neutral third party.
Better staffing and less turnover.
Transparency. Fewer tiers of leadership. Just as they embrace the frontiers of medical science, executive leadership needs to embrace more current management and business strategies. Leadership shouldn't be so afraid of the "rabble" and instead should look to partner with us by sharing in the wealth
The entire medical hospital needs to change
Less narcissism at the top. accountability for the teams as a whole, across departments, so people dont work at cross purposes to avoid blame & succeed on individual metrics
