NYU Langone Health Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Willing to listen; willing to try new things; not afraid of change. Really dont care about competition only care about doing better than yesterday

Transparency, dedication, honesty, hard working

They are the worst, they cast blame and throw people under the bus and or fire them because of there lack of leadership and bad policy

leadership is always there for you

Strong communication, skills, and teamwork.

They always include lower level staff in workflow decisions

My new manager is a former RN on the unit

Leadership is well spoken and educated.

I have had an exceptional experience. I feel positive about the leadership and direction. They also make me feel valued and respected- that is rare.

Winthrop Leadership was more of a Home environment and everyone was happy before NYU took over . My Director was great and wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty .

It is inclusive with great guidance.

Supportive to help you grow professionally into the career position

Their interest in the work and job that I do. Consistently staying on top of new technologies and advancements in the healthcare industry.

Review from Admin Dept

intelligence, ambition, strategic thinking, investment & commitment

Review from Operations Dept

Mary (CVSCU) is an incredible leader. She is always open available when you need to talk. She always remains calm, cool and collected under high stree situations. These two traits are an amazing combination.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

caring about their employees better. they spend so much time on excessive policy changes and ways to make things better and things are getting worse instead. my past supervisor was very concerned and good person to her team that worked for her. now it is a free for all. poor management

They need to get better at telling their employees the truth regarding pay raises and promotions

Being honest. supportive, less micromanaging . They should be take accountability for themselves and be open to criticism.

Become leaders and not egoistic liars.

A third party intervention is a must, staff has no trust in leadership.

A full leadership replacement to start winning back the staff that now have no trust in their leadership due to the blatant favoritism.

Cominication, inclusiveness, fsirness and professionalism

More upfront, clearly established metric goals that aim to share the profits that the exec leadership covertly cares about and guards. Diversity and true accessibility to the top ranks - B-level managers shouldn't be asked to handpick attendees to "open" forums. Diversity in C-level nursing

They hace zero people skills and no empathy

New FGP administration and make outpatient office standardize

Review from Operations Dept

Not firing staff who complain to the media that we don't have enough PPE.

Review from Operations Dept

communication and morals. also need to be organized

Review from Admin Dept

Everything. They are immature, incompetent, and unprofessional.
