Even scaling from sub 200 people to almost 800 and an IPO Olo has managed to retain much of the culture that drew me here. Remote focused, great benefits, family first, challenging, meaningful work.
Olo has a great family first culture, and is also a genuinely remote culture. The product constantly iterates and provides a much needed service! Salaries on the customer success team (which has quite a large silo of teams that aren't really customer success) are lower than industry average.

What's the vibe like in the Product dept at Olo? How many hours are you working?
50 to 60 hours a week.
60 hours. Team itself is super supportive. A lot of pressure from execs to deliver with not enough or adequate resources to meet deadlines.
How's the work life balance at Olo?
Great. We're owners and work to get the job done vs. dwell on the concept of face-time.
The balance is good - we are all owners and know what needs to be accomplished in our realm. Work is always present, but families come first. It's not just a stated value at Olo, it's practiced.

Olo pays 100% of monthly premiums for individual and family coverage for medical, dental, and vision. Health care coverage starts on the first day of employment. To supplement the health plan, Olo provides a fully-funded Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) to every employee for out-of-pocket costs. Olo pays for basic life insurance coverage valued at 1x salary and Group Long-Term Disability Insurance is provided at no cost. Olo offers Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Plans for Healthcare and Dependent Care, Pre-Tax Commuter Benefits, Supplemental Life Insurance, and Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance. Employees receive PTO days on their first date of employment, they are not accrued. PTO days are pro-rated in the employee’s first year. Paid parental leave is available for all employees. A 401(k) plan is available for employee retirement savings.

How flexible is your work schedule at Olo?
Very flexible. Most go by the typical EST 8-hour days. Some have unique schedules to accommodate different walks of life.
What questions do they ask during the interview process at Olo?
For engineering positions it's a mix of two 30 min code/refactoring tests you do at home, a high-level interview with VP of Engineering, a 1 hr tech screen, and finally a hands-on pairing session with another developer.
