Time flies by because it's a very fast paced start up (busy). Managers are seen as coaches; it's clear that managers really care about fostering career development of their team members. Continuing education benefits are also pretty generous, which helps!

What should I wear for an interview at Orion Labs?

Be a little more dressy than what you would wear to work on a normal day. We're casual but it's always good to dress up a bit yet not be too formal.
Casual wear is fine. The culture is casual but you should dress for the position you're applying for. Also, be sure to dress comfortably. If you're comfortable your interview will be more relaxed.
What's the vibe like in the Executive dept at Orion Labs? How many hours are you working?
Executive team works pretty hard, as they should. Not uncommon to see a 10-12 hour in-office workday.
It's good. Very open lines of communication. The hours are good.

Very good! We're allowed to bring dogs pursuant to basic rules such as making sure it's ok with our co-workers.
How long do the interviews usually take at Orion Labs?
Engineering interviews are typically a full day onsite meeting with multiple members of the team. We prefer to do short coding tests early in the process rather than making you whiteboard out a bunch of pseudocode. ;-)

We are a fast-growing startup and so peoples roles tend to expand and evolve as the company does.
Orion isn't big enough for this to matter.

Everything. I don't dread coming into the office at all. I know that even when things get tough, we will work together with open lines of communication. That's key - open communication.
