Everyone is accessible and open to ideas from all levels of the org; it always feels like we're all in this together (everyone rolls up their sleeves and pitches in).
Vision, strategy, execution, empathetic, diplomatic
Great teamwork and creativity. They're great!
The leadership team is very transparent about the roadmap - always encouraging employees to learn more about how they can develop their skills, while also helping push the company towards its goals.
Overall, the leadership at Orion is very supportive and focused on mentorship.

generous and flexible with benefits and perks like wellness
It is pretty solid for a start-up.
The compensation package is well rounded. It includes Salary, Bonus, Stock Options, Health Care, and Retirement Plan. It covers all the bases.
Salary is great -- generally everything is great. I really like paid gym memberships, as well as onsite fitness programs. There's an emphasis on staying health. That said, I would greatly benefit from having to pay less out of pocket for my monthly family health insurance premiums.
There is a clear ladder and regular adjustments.
Raises and salaries are not always in line with your work performance. Taking on a new role/responsibility has little to no effect on your salary. I could be getting paid much more somewhere else, but the people make it hard to leave.
My compensation was below industry average.
I am compensated below the average salary for my position and years of experience in San Francisco where its increasingly becoming a challenge to make ends meet.
We're results oriented, so meetings end with going over action items, specifics on what each task completion looks like (e.g. google drive shared with group), who owns what, when it's due. We enjoy checklists with accountability and we are constantly looking to eliminate inefficiencies.
My team is hard working, collaborative, focused, and whimsical
Our team is a great mix of people who are not only incredibly talented and hardworking, but respectful of one another. Coworkers check in on one another to make sure you're not overloaded with tasks, and recognize the value of a happy team.
Everyone is highly motivated, strives to do their best work, and goes out of their way to help each other. We care very much about making this a welcoming place for all.
Everyone on the team operates at very high competence even under stress.

People are generous with information and nobody is afraid to try; we foster innovation which requires that sometimes we get to learn from mistakes and celebrate the learning (trial and error is valued). Nobody takes themselves too seriously and everyone is willing to help others.
Diversity of coworkers, from race to gender to professional background, to physical ability, really embracing diversity
As long as we meet our deadlines and are available for meetings, we have the freedom to set our schedules, as needed and offers us the flexibility working remotely.
This is one of the most inclusive cultures I've worked within.
We strive to be an inclusive place where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves, and we know diversity is a strength.

I could see the impact I'd have at the company and could easily imagine the direction my career would grow at Orion (it was exactly what I was looking for).
Teamwork, interdepartmental input and evaluation. Structured hiring process that makes it equitable for every candidate
The interview was well structured, and thoughtful questions were considered ahead of time.
The technical portion was basically a replication of most parts of my team's scrum processes. It wasn't designed to get you rather expose and engage you with what an average day on the job would look like. All other aspects were necessary formalities.
Being treated as a human rather than a list item was really great.

My coworkers are the best part of my job.
Teamwork, executing vision, making things a little better every day
I love having complex problems to solve with rad and brilliant people around me.
Accomplishing things that I know have a very real affect on the outcome of our success.
Love the company/co-workers, product is cutting edge, hot sector that's dominated by a large incumbent (huge opportunity for disruption), highly relevant across so many industries, everyone focused on winning.
