My experience at Patriot Software has been nothing short of excellent. It's a place that's committed to helping businesses succeed, which requires a kind, hard-working, and talented workforce. I know I can depend on being treated with respect and appreciation.

The people at Patriot are awesome! Their accounting software and payroll software are extremely affordable and easy to use.

Patriot is the best company I have ever worked for. In my 20+ years, I have never worked a job where I felt the company cared about my professional development. One of Patriot's mottos is "We grow Leaders." and they follow through with that by providing the tools necessary for success/

They're very open, transparent, and honest. They have very high integrity!

My manager is great and compassionate.

There is no fear of retribution. All opinions and constructive criticisms are both welcomed and encouraged. While there is a structural hierarchy, there is not the feeling that the CEO (or anyone in management) thinks he is "better" than any of the other employees.

The team is great. Sometimes things move a little too slowly. When presented with an opportunity that requires engineering resources, it doesn't always feel like we are able to be "agile" and pivot to seize some really large opportunities.

Too much weight is put on a few exec's opinions. They have their own agendas, and it doesn't help the company's development as a whole.

We get the real deal stock options, which is awesome!

Medical benefits are the best!

The major medical is about what can be expected. Nothing over the top, but more than fair. The best part is the company pays for your short term disability, which is a big cost saver for me as an employee.

I think I am paid very fairly. I have always been rewarded with pay increases when my results warrant them. I like that we do reviews twice a year with the potential for a raise twice a year.

The HSA plan has been a huge help for me and my family.

It would be great to have more PTO and a better 401(k) match.

They're very smart, and they're hard working. Iron sharpens iron.

Everyone I've worked with is whip-smart, humble, patient, and kind. Not to mention, a lot of people I've worked with have a great sense of humor, which brings so much joy to the day!

Everyone is so willing to share knowledge and are great at receiving feedback.

The team feels like a team. There is never a time when it feels like I am the only one pulling my weight. If I need help, my co-workers are willing to jump in and help. If something needs done, we can all pitch in and make sure it's taken care of.

We have a great team that I would with every day and other teams that I interact with sporadically are also great. Everyone has a genuine want to help improve Patriot for us and our customers.

We get to work remotely.

It's apparent that we're all on the same team, and we're trying to help American businesses and their accountants.

Everyone is so supportive. It can be isolating working from home, but when you know your manager is only a zoom call away, it is much more comforting.

Everyone is so willing to help out to make sure little problems don't become big issues. We do have smaller teams that we work with daily, but really it's the ability of the entire company to work as a team between departments that make Patriot so special.

It is the great people. Sometimes that means it takes a little longer to find the right fit, but it pays off in the end. It feels like we are truly a family.

I like that the recruiter went through the values and history of the company, as well as where they are now and where they are going. In addition, I was able to meet multiple members of multiple teams and I already felt a part of things before I officially started!

The fast turn around time to hear a response. It stinks waiting weeks to know if you were selected for a position, but with Patriot I knew within 2 days.

I feel like every interaction had a purpose. I have had a lot of interviews that felt like I was just going through the motions because that is what they thought they needed to do. They didn't learn anything about me and I didn't learn anything about the company. Not at Patriot.

God, if I can remember what my interview consisted of - though it was just a year ago. One of my favorite parts was the culture piece of the panel interviews. It may seem odd at first that they'd ask you these questions but they really are strong indicators of who will be a good culture fit.

The chance to talk to many of the people I'd be working with.
