People Ops would always present us with optional events to keep us engaged as a company. Additionally, there is a sense of togetherness (in all of the good and appropriate ways of course) when it comes to working with peers even spanning to departments you don't work with daily.

God, if I can remember what my interview consisted of - though it was just a year ago. One of my favorite parts was the culture piece of the panel interviews. It may seem odd at first that they'd ask you these questions but they really are strong indicators of who will be a good culture fit.
