Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Given the skill sets i possess, considering the bay area competition, the base as well as equity should be on the higher side. The leadership team need to understand there is no bonus, so joining a start up is a lot of risk. Less pay- puts an employee in difficult situation.
