What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The Christmas parties were cool. HR is cool to work with. Vasa has been a great leader. I really like some of my coworkers and that's been the biggest positive thing for me.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Being leaders rather than bosses. There's almost a segregation between higher up leaders and us front line employees. I left a company that was big on creating almost a family feel culture. That's what they told me in my interview so I looked forward to that but it wasn't the case.

What are some of the best things about your team?

I can relate with my team because we all feel the same about the lack of real leadership and feeling like we're just doing a job. We at least have each other even if our leaders aren't a part of that. It's harder that we work at home but I can still reach out and chat with them.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

I know I don't have the full picture but from where I stand I know the leaders of this company can do a better job at bringing us along for the ride. I'm just a number and everyone on my team feels we are. In my last company I did the same thing but my leader really made me feel important.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We do a lot. I believe we're a big part of our success but I don't feel that from my leaders and I know my team doesn't feel that way either. We've lost team members because of the pandemic, and I understand that and am grateful I got to stay. But I'm still just a number. I wish my boss was better.
