What do you like best about the leadership team?
They recognize our hard work, acknowledge us and are flexible with our schedules. Also, very understanding and lovely role models.
My manager uses common sense and handles his employees and customers exceptionally well.
I like our communication the best. We've had lots of management turnover during the past three years but the team we have in place now is amazing
She leads by example, and she is perfect in almost every aspect through pet supermarkets missikn and vision statements. Shes informative, and has the best customer service ive seen to date.

Hiring is all Latino in the best jobs, I gave them my resume and had a family issue, had only missed those 3 days and the agency told me they released me. Wow

Communication and training. Valuing employees and customers.
Hold everyone equally responsible, everyone needs to be on the same page with training, expectations should be taught immediately
Leadership needs to appreciate their team's work and reward effort.
Communication. Our team does phenomenal besides our store manager. They believe they are royalty and any issues we bring up about their behavior is merely "misinterpreted" by us. Our district manager is best friends with them and brushes aside out concerns.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Benefits, experience and knowledge. Also, compassion
Life insurance as well as vision, dental, and more.
Potential for monthly bonuses are a plus.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I believe all employees should be paid more and the goals should be realistic, attainable, and the goal posts shouldnt keep being moved out of reach. Employee discounts changed, bonus structure continually changes and it kills morale.
Worked there for a year and have only gotten a .25¢ raise. The managers only care about the sales and lying to customers
We need a balanced schedule especially during the holiday season so all can see familys.
I cannot ever get a hold of anyone in HR or corporate to help with my questions. Which limits me to what I can do with my benefits. I literally run my store alone, and i just do not make enough to help with how stressed this job workload makes me.
Higher wages and not being treated like a villain when you have to be out of work because of disease/accidents

What are some of the best things about your team?
We have the best communication between the majority of us. We are always helping each other and teaching each other
My team in store right now is great. They listen and we all work well as a team.
Some best things about my team is that we all share the same opinions about our store manager, and how terrible he is. We all are able to communicate without him and run the store without him. We all have the same opinions about this company and how we don't get paid enough for the work we do.
Hard working, and team players
My team is an amazing group of people that try their hardest given the circumstances. Everyone is like family and they feel appreciated by the manager, though they are becoming bitter towards corporate.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Stop gossip and grow up.
Not talking bad about eachother. Even human resources talk bad about their employees

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people that come in are nice, they take our suggestions well and some people come from out of state as well. Its fun to teach them about animals theyve never seen before
We help each other when need it
We all get a long and are comfortable enough to have fun conversationally while we work.

Welcome new employees as part of the team and not isolate them by boasting about how great you are and how much your boss loves you.

It was very laid back, flexible and open. Everyone was super easy to talk to
They seemed nice. And like they cared about the animals, but that was just a show.

Understaffed; ridiculous quotas to be met by understaffed employees; pressure by management team as well as District manager pressuring to meet goals in a passive aggressive notation.
