My team has a number of people who work hard and help build up other team members.

One of the two people who interviewed me actually understood the nature of the work I would be doing.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The management team is not accountable. There are too many managers in some areas and not enough workers. Need to invest in the building up the team. Need to hold management accountable.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Management does not provide any real leadership. Hardly anyone knows what's going on, and it's only in the silo that impacts them. The overall direction of our team and it's contributions to the company are not clear.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The management team does not care about the employees. They do not invest in building up the teams. The managers hired in my team are purely based on personal relationships or as favors, but not based on merit or ability.
