Executive Bio
Rao Adavikolanu is the Chief Marketing Officer of Pilot. He has over 15 years of B2B Tech Saas marketing leadership experience in various GTM motions. Prior to joining Pilot, Rao was the Chief Marketing Officer of Clarizen (acquired by its competitor Planview) where he oversaw global marketing, inside sales and product marketing for the company. His insights into the rapidly changing B2B Tech marketing landscape helped Clarizen achieve unprecedented growth and operational efficiencies.
Before Clarizen, Rao was the VP of Marketing at Apttus, the leader in middle office software (acquired by Thoma Bravo for $1.5B), ran demand marketing at Intacct (acquired by Sage for $850M) and prior to that he was the first demand marketer at Alteryx (Series-A thru IPO). Early in his career, he ran Paid Search advertising globally for Oracle.
Rao is an active GTM advisor for many tech startups.
He received his master’s in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Louisiana.
