For the most part, it is positive however the shift wars and the people with bad attitudes or are just plain lazy do negatively impact my experience.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Getting people to work together bette. For instance, management needs to put more effort towards ending shift wars.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Due to rampant inflation I believe we are way overdue a raise, plus benefits such as regular and sick leave are lacking.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most of us work together with a common goal of producing a quality maintenance product. The few bad apples we have do diminish this.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting to troubleshoot systems, fixing discrepancies and getting the satisfaction of getting a good fix. Working with coworkers that have a positive outlook and attitude, and just want to get jobs done regardless of the amount of effort other shifts have put forth.
