Executive Bio
Mr. Richard G. Jensen, also known as Rick, served as an Executive Vice President of Operations of Plains Midstream Canada ULC until 2017. Mr. Jensen was responsible for overseeing all Crude Oil and Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG) operations, including engineering, environment, health and safety, land and regulatory activities. Mr. Jensen has been Executive Vice President of Operations, Plains Midstream Canada for Plains All American GP LLC, the General Partner of Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. since October 2012. He has over 27 years of senior executive experience in global projects and operations across the oil and gas, chemical and upstream and midstream sectors. Prior to Plains, he worked with Nexen Petroleum for over 22 years, where he served in various leadership capacities, as Vice President, Middle East, South America and Africa. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of International Operations at Nexen Inc., since July 1, 2008. He also served as Division Vice President of International Production and Development at Nexen Inc., since December 1, 2005 and served as its Division Vice President of International Production and Operations since October 1, 2004. Mr. Jensen also worked in executive leadership roles at Canadian Occidental Petroleum and Canadian Nexen Chemicals.
