Working with cardboard suppliers that are members of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, Plated's delivery boxes are fully recyclable.
Depending on the season and your location, your box will be lined with either jute (brown) or denim (blue) insulation. Just like yard or food waste, our jute blend is compostable in municipal compost systemsyou can also use it as a weed barrier in your garden or dispose of it along with your regular garbage. Our denim lining is made from materials that have been recycled and reincarnated many times before arriving in your boxyou can reuse it, donate it to a textile exchange in your area, or dispose of it along with your garbage. You can also recycle the plastic insulation cover at your local grocery store.
Our gel packs are reusable.If youdon'twant to keep them, we recommend disposing of the gel in the trashlet thaw, clip the corner of the pack, discard the gel--and then you can recycle the plastic at your local grocery store. Also, all of our plastic bottles can be recycled.
Please know that Plated is continually working to make its packaging more sustainable. In addition, Plated's fulfillment centers across the country donate select leftover perishable ingredients to local food banks and organizations.

Any confirmed, billed or processing boxes will still have the previous settings as its already locked in our system. Make sure to adjust any updates of this nature by the confirmation deadline for your next box-which is 6 days before by 12 pm noon.

If you have multiple discounts live for the same box, the highest discount live in your account will apply. Discounts cannot be combined.
If I order two menus, will I receive two discounts?
You can only order one Thanksgiving Curated Menu per week, and therefore redeem only one discount. However, if you order a Thanksgiving Curated Menu for both weeks, you will receive a discount each week.

Whats the soonest I can start preparing for my feast?
The secret to a successful Thanksgiving feast? Prep ahead! We suggest getting a head start the day beforecheck out your Curated Menus Planning Guide for an easy-to-follow timeline, starting with the day before.
Ifyou'vewaited until the day of Thanksgiving to get started (we get it, things happen), set an early alarm to get your pie in the oven before starting anything else.
How long does it take to make each Curated Menu?
The amount of time it takes to prepare your Thanksgiving meal will depend on when you start. We suggest preparing some dishes the day before (check out the Planning Guide for a complete step-by-step timeline) so youdon'tfall behind schedule.
For the Just the Extras menu, it should take about 1 hour and 15 minutes the day before and about 1 hour on the day of. (Note: Since we doubled up the sides, you may need to extend cook times to account for more food.)
Of course, you'll need to tack on the cook time for your main roast, but our Planning Guides will remind you. For the Full Feast menu, the day before will take about 2 hours and the day of will take about 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Why am I receiving two recipes cards for the Side recipes in just the extras curated menu?
Our Just the Extras box is meant to feed a crowd (think 46 people). Weve doubled up the Sides so theres enough to pass around the table. All you need to add is the main coursewhether thats a turkey, ham, or plant-based option, is up to you!
The Thanksgiving Planning Guide includes tweaks for streamlining your Sides to account for the extra ingredients and cook times.
In the Full Feast Curated Menu, am I receiving a full turkey?
Roasting a whole turkey takes up precious time and oven space, so this year weve opted to skip the whole bird in favor of juicy turkey breasts. They take considerably less time to cook (so youdon'thave to wake up at the break of dawn), but most importantly, our recipe for rosemary and orange-infused turkey comes out tender and moist every time.
Slice it up for that just-carved look and no one will know the difference. Plus, this recipe features our elevated twists on classic sides: creamy mashed potatoes, garlicky roasted broccolini, and savory-sweet cranberry compote.
What cooking essentials or ingredients do I need in my kitchen?
Onceyou'veselected your Thanksgiving Curated Menu, there are just a few more steps to mastering your feast. Check that your pantry is stocked with the basics: at least 3 eggs, olive oil, kosher salt, and black pepper. Then, make sure youre prepared to slice, dice, saut, and roast with these essential cooking tools:
A chefs knife and cutting board (the key to successful meal prep)
Baking sheets
A set of small, medium, and large pots with lids
A set of small, medium, and large pans (including a high-sided pan)
Your favorite ovenproof dishes (perfect for reheating and bringing straight to the Thanksgiving table)
Plastic wrap and aluminum foil
For The Full Feast menu, we suggest whipping out that potato masher to achieve super-smooth potatoes, but its not required.
View ArticleWhat is the shipping availability during the week of Thanksgiving?
During the week of Thanksgiving, due to carrier availability, we will not be shipping boxes for delivery on Thursday, the 28th, through Saturday, the 30th. Please keep in mind that your delivery day may have changed this week because of that! If your preferred delivery day has been changed, you should be receiving an email alerting you to your new delivery day very soon.
You can confirm your delivery day on your Weekly Menus page. Simply scroll to the week of Thanksgiving, November 24th through November 30th to see what day you should expect your box. Youll also be able to view other available delivery days for your area when you add a Curated Menu to your box.
What are the delivery dates for these curated menus?
This Thanksgiving Curated Menu will be available to add to your box during the weeks of November 17thNovember 23rd and November 24thNovember 30th. Given the Thanksgiving week availability, we will not be offering delivery between Thursday, November 28th and Saturday, November 30th.
To see if your preferred delivery day has been changed for the week of Thanksgiving, you can do that from your Weekly Menus page. Simply scroll to the week of Thanksgiving, November 24th through November 30th to see what day you should expect your box. Youll also be able to view other available delivery days for your area when you add a Curated Menu to your box.
How can I track my delivery?
You will receive an email with tracking information for your delivery on the morning of your delivery day. Please note that your order may arrive in more than one box. Occasionally, these are split up in transit, so they may not arrive at the same time.
Please let us know if you havent received your full order by 8 PM on your scheduled delivery day by emailing [email protected], chatting with us on the Plated website, or by giving us a call at 855-525-2399 from 8AM-12AM EST. We are here for you!
Can I receive my box on Thanksgiving day?
Due to carrier availability, we will not be delivering any boxes on Thanksgiving day. Please head to your Weekly Menus page to see the available delivery days for your area during the week of November 24thNovember 30th!
Can I change my address after ordering the box?
Yes! You can change the delivery address on any upcoming Open box by heading to your Weekly Menus page. From there, scroll to the box you would like to modify and click where it says to Change the Address for this Box.
Please keep in mind that the same delivery day may not be available in all zip codes. If the dayyou'veoriginally chosen is not available in that new zip code, it will prompt you to choose another available day for delivery.
If you would like to change the delivery address for all boxes moving forward, you can do so on your Shipping Address page in your Account Settings.
As a reminder, the last day that you can modify or skip a box is 6 days before your current delivery date before 12PM. All deliveries can be skipped on your Weekly Menus page.
View ArticleWhat happens if I add the Full Feast Curated Menu to my box?
The Full Feast Curated Menu will replace your box settings and contents for the week chosen. You will still be able to add and remove items from the personalized menu page of that week.
Keep in mind that if you add the Curated Menu and remove some of its recipes, you will lose the associated discount. You will also have to reset your box settings to your original plan servings and nights.
What happens if I add the Just the Extras Curated Menu to my box?
The Just the Extras Curated Menu will add the menu recipes on top of your existing subscription. You will be able to add & remove items from the personalized menu page of that week. Keep in mind that if you add the Curated Menu and remove some of the recipes, you will lose the associated discount.
How can I remove the Thanksgiving Curated Menu from my box?
To remove one of the Curated Menus from your box, simply visit the Weekly Menus page, click Change recipes for that weeks box, and remove the items you do not want to receive.
If you ordered the Full Feast menu, you will also have to reset your box settings to your original plan servings and nights.
Can I order multiple Thanksgiving Menus?
You cannot order more than one Thanksgiving Curated Menu for a single week, however, you can order one Curated menu per week for the two weeksthey'rebeing offered.

Can I order these recipes outside of the Curated Menus?
Yes, you are able to order each of these recipes individually from our menus. You can click here to add these recipes to your Week of 11/17 box, and here to add them to your Week of 11/24 box.
I accidentally removed recipes from my box, how do I get them back?
Ifyou'veremoved one or more recipes of the Curated Thanksgiving Menus, you can simply get them back by adding them on your personalized menu page. You can access your Week of 11/17 box here, and your Week of 11/24 box here.
Another option is to delete all associated menu items and go back to our Thanksgiving Curated Menus page where you can add the menu again, or switch to the other menu.
How many people does each menu serve?
The Full Feast is designed to serve 46 people comfortably. The Just the Extras menu complements your main event (be it a turkey, ham, or veggie option) to serve 46 people. Depending on the size of your roast, you may have more to go around.
Can I mix and match Thanksgiving-themed recipes?
Yes! You do not have to order The Full Feast or Just the Extras. From your personalized menu page of that week. You can select dinner recipes for the week and pair with any apps, sides, and desserts youd like.
Just keep in mind, if you do not add either of the Thanksgiving Curated Menus, you will not receive the associated discount.
Can I order my normal weekly recipes if I select the Full Feast Menu?
Since adding the Full Feast Menu to your box will replace your normal weekly recipes, if you would like to receive them in addition to that curated menu, please contact our Customer Experience Team via live chat or by phone at (855) 525-2399 between 8AM and 12AM EST to see if we have the availability to create a custom box for you!
Just keep in mind, the last day that you can any changes to a specific box is 6 days before your current delivery date at 12 pm.
Can I order my normal weekly recipes if I select the Just the Extras Menu?
Yes, the Just the Extras Curated Menu will add the menu recipes on top of your existing subscription!
Im a vegetarian, are either boxes vegetarian-friendly?
Yes, the Just the Extras Curated Menu contains all vegetarian recipes!

To speak further to that, our Culinary team works to create a variety of recipes that accommodate many different lifestyles, however, we do not provide a full menu tailored to dietary restrictions. Each recipe on our menu does contain a list of each ingredient included in every recipe, so you can see exactly what you're getting prior to ordering.

View ArticleYes! All you can do on your desktop you can do on the appand more. You can download the Plated app for free from the App Store or Google Play Store. (The iOS app requires iOS 8.0 and up, and the Android app requires Android 4.4 and up.)
To skip an upcoming open box on the Plated app, all you have to do is click on the Upcoming tab on your app, navigate over to the box you'd like to skip by clicking the arrows by the dates on the top of the page. Click the "Options" button, and then click "Skip Week". After you confirm youd like to make this skip, youre all set! Under this Options button you will also be able to modify the plan size or delivery day!
To change recipes in an upcoming open box on the app, stay on that Upcoming tab, scroll to the box youd like to make changes to and select Make Changes From there, youll be able to swap out meals as you wish!
