Out of 32 Presidio Trust employee reviews, 36% were positive. The remaining 64% were constructive reviews with the goal of helping Presidio Trust improve their work culture.
All are good people who care about the place but they all lack the courage to speak out and say what many people in lower ranks are thinking when it comes to how inproductive so many meetings seem to be
Listening to thier best resourse - the emoyees. When they take the pulse of the organization they should listen and use the feedback for improvement.
Stop ignoring the morale that's plummeted since 2015.
Transparency and treating people with respect.
Organization is top-heavy and people in leadership have little understanding of what they are doing.
Too many managers and they're not willing to listen to employees.
Compensation is fair and the Trust makes this a prioroty to remain competitive
Management is trying to be transparent but there are still deals being worked.
There have been many cuts to compensation recently and there are future cuts in the work. Employees are definitely not valued at the Presidio.
There have been drastic cuts to benefits recently and more are in the works. Whereas once the Trust had better benefits than the federal government, it is now aiming to have significantly worse.
There have been recent significant cuts to benefits, ostensibly as part of a compensation improvement project but all it has done is confuse and demoralize staff. Once the benefits were better than those offered by other agencies, now they are much worse and there are more cuts on the way.
My team is trust worthy and willing to help when ever asked
Some departments have very qualifed employees. Others are lacking.
Lots of long-term staff with little experience in their fields. Constant, toxic fighting between divisions. Little productivity.
Fear rules the Trust and no one trusts each other. People actively withhold information from each other and work to build their little fiefdoms.
Most people take the work and their duties seriously but they are also willing to admit they know their limitations and challenges.
Value and understand diversity and its many forms. Don't just throw it out there by way of trainings and groups formed in response to Executive Order and complaints.
Diversity needs to be understood instead of being thrown out as training materials. It needs to come from the top.
There's a large disconnect between management and employees. Poorly thought-out initiatives are frequently introduced and then quickly abandoned. Management has little understanding or interest in how the agency functions day-to-day. Frequent battles between divisions make progress difficult.
The toxicity starts with the executive team and filters down. It's painfully obvious they do not get along and are actively working to sabotage one another while building their own little fiefdoms.
