Mr. Daniel Stephen Hafner, also known as Steve, co-founded Kayak Software Corporation in January 2004 and has been its Chief Executive Officer since January 2004. Mr. Hafner served as the President of Kayak Software Corporation, subsidiary of The Priceline Group Inc. since January 2004 and served as its Treasurer. He served as an Executive Vice President of Consumer Travel Services at Orbitz, Inc. and served as its Vice President of Marketing and Business Development since December 2001. He has extensive knowledge of marketing, e-commerce and online travel to Kayak.com. Mr. Hafner serves as a Member of the Orbitz, where he helped develop and implement the Orbitz's business strategy. He led the Consumer Travel's business development, advertising sales, marketing and product marketing activities. Mr. Hafner was a Strategy Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, where he managed case teams focusing primarily on healthcare, e-commerce and industrial goods. He began his career at the Marketing Corporation of America, where he contributed to strategic planning, target marketing and new product development for key pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. He has been a Director of SeatGeek Inc. since July 13, 2015. He has been a Director of Kayak Software Corporation since January 2004. He served as a Member of Board of Advisors at FanSnap, Inc. Mr. Hafner has a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College in 1991 and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University in 1997.
