Privy is an amazing place to work. I've never had the Sunday Scaries every since starting here and that's an amazing feeling. Between the mission of helping small businesses, the amazing team, and the respect and transparency throughout the whole company. . it's just awesome and I feel very lucky.
What makes you most happy at work?
Everyone that I work with and the fact that we are helping small to mid size ecommerce businesses achieve their dreams. It doesn't get much better than that.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is very friendly, open, and collaborative. We have Friday Show and Tells where each team gets to show off things they accomplished that week that they're proud of.
What makes you most happy at work?
I think the mission we're working toward - helping small businesses run and grow their businesses is something to feel really good about. Also, my coworkers are awesome to be around.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I genuinely love every single person I work with. Privy is full of smart people who push you to be better. There's also a ton of respect from team member to team member.
What did you like most about the interview process?
That my hiring manager and I met initially for coffee first and got to know one another on a more personal level to see if it would be a good culture and work style fit.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is very friendly and willing to help each other out. It's an extremely collaborative environment where every idea is valued equally and we bounce ideas off of each other to make those ideas even better.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Every idea is respected and heard, no matter who it comes from. Ben is extremely open and accessible to anyone who wants to chat or voice their opinions, and I think that sets the tone for the rest of the organization.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked meeting with who I would be reporting to in person prior to coming in for an interview with the rest of the team. It took some of the pressure off and the casual setting/chat helped ensure it would be a good fit.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team provides a ton of visibility into the overall performance of the company, where we've made and learned from mistakes, and what our future plans are for growing the business. We have a monthly all hands meeting where each team lead showcases this.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is extremely transparent with the rest of the company and there are no egos here. No matter who you are, everyone's ideas are truly valued. The leadership team is genuine and cares about their employees and their individual success as well as success as a team.
