Very smart and forward thinking

The leadership team is continually invested in me as an employee, and gives me many opportunities to learn new technologies on the job in a practical, effective way. They're constantly seeking feedback and trying to improve, and it really shows. The culture here is amazing

Highly visible, take time to address employee questions/concerns

Generally speaking, they are open and available and willing to listen.

They listen to what employees need and work to implement changes. A few months ago they started office hours to make sure everyone has access to them, even if it's just to stop by and ask how the week went.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Communication, transparency, empathy, and inclusion.

Start telling the truth. Trying to sell something you know is costing people so much more for healthcare than it should is hard!

Leadership is terrible at communicating. CEO needs to empower teams under him by trusting them and letting them make decisions rather than micro manage every aspect of the business.

Higher base salary than what I had

all of it is great

The overall benefits are fairly standard if slightly above average, my favorite part is the amount of healthy food that is supplied. There is always a variety of fruit and nuts in the kitchen, healthy catered breakfast on monday and lunch on friday. I've saved a ton of money on food living in NYC

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Showing people appreciation comes in many forms and the biggest way to tackle inequity amongst not only women but also people of color would be to create open space for them to share their concerns with you and actionable steps would be immediately taken to address the concern - not fluff promises.

The company often asks you to work weekends without compensation.

Inclusivity and ability to engage without judgement.

very diverse. not just lip service

Everyone here is friendly. As an introvert, I was slightly afraid to go into a new company culture knowing nobody, but everyone has gone out of their way to make me feel welcome by introducing themselves to me, introducing me to other people in the office, and being open to conversation during lulls

Offering people fertility help is good so many feel they are making a positive contribution.

The culture is brutal. The CEO talks about trying to to control people talking negative about the company in the office rather than actually fix the negative things that people are talking about.

What did you like most about the interview process?

It was organized and efficient without hundreds of presentations or layers.

Very thorough and very structured

The interview process never made me feel like I was being interrogated, rather it was an open conversation with someone who clearly had the necessary skills to be interviewing me instead of an HR person who doesn't understand the position properly like I've encountered at other companies.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Stop encouraging treatments and testing that is not needed just to make more money.

The company culture is toxic. Performance is not based on actual performance but rather on hearsay. Also the business signs aggressive deadlines with the clients and then developers have to work 24/7 to try to meet the deadlines.
